BACKGROUND

Shay Graduated from the University of Maryland as a two-time All-American lacrosse player where she majored in psychology and communication with a focus in holistic wellness. She is currently one of the assistant lacrosse coaches at Loyola University of Maryland. Over the past five years, Shay has used her sports identity and coaching experience to create her own lacrosse training business where she works with individuals and club programs nationwide implementing physical and mental strategies for performance enhancement. With the mentorship of high-level trainers, Shay is hoping to implement her passion for helping others through physical training open to all ages.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

Holistic wellness where one strives for positive physical, social, mental, and nutritional well-being can lead to a more confident, and fulfilled person. These four pillars seem more obtainable when a person has a supportive group aiding them in the process. Coach Shay believes in fostering an encouraging, motivating, and resilient culture within the gym where people can be themselves and make each other better athletes, trainers, and humans. She strives to create a vulnerable yet powerful training space for people to achieve goals, push past barriers, and overcome weaknesses.
